Lab Overview

The Computational Brain Imaging and Network Modeling (COMBINE) lab at the Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea is currently focusing on: 1) AI-inspired neuroscience theory implementation such as active inference and predictive coding 2) Consciousness model such as global working space theory 3) Large-scale biophysical neural network modeling 4) Biology-AI combined reinforcement learning We are currently looking for PhD students who are interested in maths and cognitive neuroscience. The COMBINE lab located in the Center for Neuroscience Imaging Research has full access to several core imaging and behavioral quantification facilities including high-resolution MRI scanners for human (3T, 7T) and animal (9.4T and 15.2T) brains, non-human primate and rodent neurophysiological monitoring systems, and eye-tracking tools.
